This is the room where Black women question the narratives we inherited about womanhood, love, relationships, desirability, survival, respectability, softness, strength, and identity.

Because somewhere along the way, many of us learned how to survive before we ever learned how to truly know ourselves.

Miseducation of a Browngirl is the rebellious act of asking:
“Who told us we had to be this way?”

This room is rooted in cultural conversations, storytelling, reflection, humor, honesty, and truth-telling without shame. Here, we unpack the unspoken, question the expectations, challenge survival patterns, and explore what Black womanhood gets to look like on our own terms.
